Where are the Tla'amin Nation Located?
The Tla'amin Nation tradtionally occupy an area along the coast of British Columbia, Canada. They are part of the Coast Salish language family, which encompasses a large portion of the southern BC coast and the northern coast of Washington State in the USA. This language family is subdivided into numerous groups, each belonging to different First Nation communities. The boundaries of these language groups are not traditionally cut and dry however, as many groups shared languages and territories.
