Community Outreach |
The SFU Archaeology team alongside the Sliammon First Nation accomplish community outreach through many different aveneues. Reaching out to the greater community is essential in helping the public understand and appreciate archaeology, as well as encouraging the protection of cultural heritage. Everyone from young children to elders can learn something from archaeology, as well as gain a deeper respect for our past and present cultures. Lets preserve them for the future!

Some of the ways we reach out to the community is through public days at the site, presentations at local schools, as well as newspaper articles. The best way is to get everyone involved!
